Q I was told or thought that if I compact trash I will pay a different rate for my trash per yard?
A You will pay more. That is why we designed the first deflator system. Compactors produce trash that is heavier per cubic yard than the waste hauler allows. Our system being manual will not exceed loose trash limits for weight per cubic yard.

Q How can you lower my hauling bill if I’m located in a city controlled or franchised waste area?
A Pack-A-Drum lowers the volume without incurring a compacted waste penalty. The lower volume at the same rate per cubic yard results in a lower cost – it’s guaranteed.
Q I currently use a waste broker, how can you get me a lower hauling costs?
A Waste brokers can only negotiate for lower cost per cubic yard which results in 10 to 15% reductions in cost. Pack-A-Drum will produce less cubic yards or lower service levels to achieve 40 – 60% reductions from dumpster size and/or fewer pickups or both.
Q I have existing contracts with my current waste vendors, will this cause a problem?
A Contracts are for a specific timeframe but not for a specific service level. You can adjust your service level for changes in your business or implementing recycling/diversion. The adjusted cost can be confirmed prior to acquiring the Pack-A-Drum system. Pack-A-Drum or your waste broker can confirm the new service levels & pricing. If your waste broker or hauler cannot get the 40- 60% savings they are probable working on a % of cost basis – it’s time to fire that company as they are not working for your best interests, which is saving you money.
Q The dumpster is producing a foul odor – causing customer complaints, health inspection issues & upset employees. Can your system reduce or eliminate this problem?
A Pack-A-Drum liners contain the waste products including fluids which keep the dumpster cleaner & odor free. Your guests will not even know they are parked next to the dumpster. This also reduces flies, birds, bees and other pests from being attracted to the dumpster. It will also prevent items from blowing around the parking lot and hurting your clean restaurant image.

The cans will stay cleaner and odor free which is a bonus from using our system. Health inspectors like this as the trash is more contained. We work with several clients that have Toter programs with limited space and our system can reduce 3 to 5 bags into one making the Toter hold up to 10 bags of trash.
